Planning a trip with students or large school groups to Venice from Slovenia or Croatia?
We understand the needs of educational programs to make your trip to Venice student friendly. Our experienced guides will adapt to the needs of such groups in order to make the trip interesting for our younger passengers.
Instead of the classical trip, created for the regular passenger, we understand the need of student travel and have made a program, especially for them:
you will be met by your guide at the pier and welcomed aboard the ship. We will do our best to reserve seats in a manner, so the children can enjoy the trip and talk to each other. En route to Venice the guide will discuss what the teachers expect from the trip and what they want to see. Before arriving to Venice the guide can explain the rise and fall of one of the most interesting republics that ever existed and the influence it had on our ancestors.
After having arrived to Venice you will leave the vessel to discover the pearl of the northern Adriatic. Instead of taking the “classical / shorter” walk into the city, you can walk to the bridge of the barefooted, past the train station and to the FIRST (Jewish) ghetto on Earth. Having seen the island where the Jews were forced to live, the walk will continue to the Rialto bridge and end up on St Mark”s square for a guided tour of the “drawing room of Europe”, as Napoleon Bonaparte called it.
After the guided tour, the group can enjoy some free time in Venice, come to lunch with up (see below) and enjoy a scenic boat ride through the Canale Grande back to the port.
