The fast ferry catamaran service that runs between Umag in Croatia and Venice in Italy operates several days in the week. It runs on a seasonal basis as the tourist season starts in the last days of April and goes through till the first days of October. On several days of the week, if there are no departures from Umag to Venice, bus transfers are offered to Piran (Slovenia) and Poreč (Croatia). The ferry, running between the two coastal cities, carries passengers only as it does not have any car, van or truck capacities.

Passengers using the ferry service as a day trip between Umag and Venice, sailing with the ship to Venice and back in one day. Departing Umag in the morning, spending six quality hours in Venice and returning in the evening hours. During the stay in Venice guests are welcome to grab an Italian lunch, ride the traditional gondola or sail down the Grand Canal by water taxi. The ferry ticket includes a free guided tour of St. Mark’s square. The guides offer a variety of services to make your experience unique.

The ferry service between Umag and Venice operates on a daily basis, leaving Umag in the morning hours (between 07:30 and 08:00 and sailing directly to Venice, arriving ususally before 11:00, but please check the timetable of each specific departure since times differ due to restrictions in the Venetian lagoon. The sailing lasts under 3 hours. On the days that this service is not provided, shippers may organise transfers to Piran (Slovenia) or Poreč to the ferry in order to make your travels as easy as possible.

The ferry service between Venice, Italy and Umag, Croatia operates on a daily basis in the late afternoon hours, arriving to Umag in the evening. The service usually starts between 16:30 and 17:15, but please check the timetable of each specific departure since times may vary due to restrictions in the Venetian lagoon. The sailing lasts under 3 hours. On the days that this service is not provided, shiipers may organise transfers to Piran (Slovenia) or Poreč from the ferry.

Umag is the northernmost city on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula. The buildings show a strong Venetian influence and excluding the canals, which are exclusive only to Venice, resembles the destination to where the ferries from Umag take you.
