Departures of the catamaran from Piran with transfers from Bernardin

The catamaran departs from Piran in Slovenia and considering that the hotel complex Bernardin and Piran are very close, we offer bus transfers from Bernardin to the pier of departure and back for all guests wanting to sail with us from Piran to Venice either for a one day excursion or for a one way sailing Bernardin – Venice or Venice – Bernardin.

* On the third Sunday in July Venetians celebrate the end of the first plague epidemic (festa Redentore). The departure on the marked Saturday is planned 30 minutes earlier, as the voyage takes about 45 minutes in each direction and the return to Piran is also delayed by 45min.

** In July and August additional departures are possible when the vessel departs from nearby Umag (Croatia) with organised bus transfers from local hotels. Click here for the complete timetable.

Passengers must be at the dock/port for 60 minutes before departure. Please note checkin ends 20 minutes before the departure of the catamaran.

Transport to the port

For hotel guests staying in any of the three hotels in Bernardin, we organize return bus transfers from the main road just outside Bernardin: (passengers must be at pick up point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time). The exact pick up time is specified on the ticket at time of booking.

Guests from GH Bernardin also have the option of transportation to Tartini Square with a bus service from the Fornače garage to Tartini Square (runs every 15 minutes at a cost of 1 € per person).
